National Conference on Adult and Juvenile Female Offenders

The 2011 conference is hosted by the State of Utah, Division of Juvenile Justice Services and co-sponsored by The Association on Programs for Female Offenders (APFO).

This conference held in Salt Lake City Utah will provide a forum for those who work with adolescent and adult females in the juvenile and criminal justice systems. The conference is for administrators, policy makers, facility directors and any professional who has responsibility in providing direct or indirect services for adolescent and adult females in the justice systems.

DATES:
October 15-16, 2011 – Intensive Pre-Conference Sessions. Sponsored by: National Institute of Corrections, CORE Associates, LLC, The Center for Effective Public Policy, and Center for Gender and Justice.

October 17-19, 2011 – Conference Highlights. Keynote Speaker: Mark Shurtleff, Utah Attorney General. Plenary Session: Dr. Stephanie Covington, LCSW. Key Sessions focus on juvenile corrections and adult corrections in the areas of individual change, systems change and community change.
